Everyday People

I have long wondered why, at 2pm on a Tuesday, there are so many people wandering the streets of San Francisco: exercising, shopping, going to the movies, gabbing on the phone. Don't these people work? Why are consumer businesses even open from 9-5 Monday through Friday when the majority of the population is at the office?

Why? Because (insert self-referential expletive) not everyone is me.
