Obama Says F*ck It

Spotted: Jobs

One of my coworkers (a young Scottish male) ran into Steve Jobs at the yogurt place by our office in Palo Alto. Jobs was fiddling with his iPhone. My coworker says, "good thing its not a BlackBerry!" with a chuckle. Jobs did not think it was funny.

In other news, the iPad was launched today. Seriously? "iPad?" That's the best you could come up with, Jobs?

It's Official: Jobs Announces Apple's iPad, PC World

Are Online Retailers Destroying the Environment?

Well, maybe not all of them. But Sur la Table is not starting off on the right foot in my opinion. I just received this large box to carry the teeny tiny wooden salt scoop on the lower right. Oh Baby, It's Cold Outisde

So after a couple weeks in Boston over the holidays (with one night crossing into the single digits at 6 degrees!!) there's nothing like warm-weather vacation planning to get the imagination-juices flowing. Which is why Fodor's new warm weather vacation search tool is the most exciting thing I've seen in a while.

The Future of Music is: Spotify

This music service will blow all others out of the water and probably change the landscape of digital music listening as we know it. While Spotify is only available in a handful of European countries, you can try it from a U.S. IP address by using instructions here.
